The Portland Women's Foundation (PWF), formerly Portland Women's Union Foundation, helps fund programs that make the biggest impact on bettering the lives of women in the metropolitan area of Portland, Oregon. Nationally less than 5% of philanthropic dollars target women. By funding smaller grassroots programs our foundation often steps in where larger foundations do not. Foundation board members visit agencies to see first hand how programs can assist and help women. Our hands-on, thoughtful approach ensures that grants provided make a positive impact.
